The original business was established by Mr Neville Weyer who provided furniture transport, general transport and beer deliveries on the Sunshine Coast.  In 1979, the business was split into Caloundra General Transport (CGT) and Caloundra Furniture Transport, with Neville keeping the CGT business and focusing on beer, wine and spirit deliveries.

 

In 1994, Russell Transport purchased the business from The Weyer Family.

 

Today, CGT specialises in the transport, storage and local distribution of Beer, Wine & Spirits for many customers throughout the Sunshine Coast and engages in other transport services where required.

 

The ‘purpose built’ warehouse was opened in 2000 and is now an important asset of the business.
